Drop, spoil and adena numbers on this site use Retail x1 until you set your server rates.

Server rates explained: x1 to x100+

What drop, spoil and adena rate mean on an Interlude private server, common rate tiers, and how to see every number on this site at your own rate.

A Lineage 2 Interlude server advertises its rate as a set of multipliers on top of the original (Retail x1) numbers: how much more adena a kill gives, how much more often an item drops or a corpse can be spoiled, and sometimes how much experience a kill gives. The multipliers are usually not the same number: a server can run drop x25, spoil x15 and adena x50 at once.

Common rate tiers

TierWhat it means
x1Retail: unchanged drop, spoil and adena rate, the same numbers this site shows before you set anything.
x3-x7Low rate: hunting and crafting take close to the time they took on Retail.
x10-x25Mid rate: the common range for Interlude servers today.
x50-x100High rate: fast gearing, short grind.
x1000+Ultra or no-grind rate: a kill or two can finish a recipe.

Use this site at your own rate

Open the rates bar at the top of the page, or follow a link your server already made for its players, and set drop, spoil and adena (and experience, if your server changes it too). Every drop chance, spoil chance, amount and craft cost on this site then recalculates for those numbers and is remembered for your next visit.

Frequently asked questions

What does "x50 rate" or "x100 rate" mean?

The multiplier a server puts on top of the original (Retail x1) numbers. An x50 server drops items and adena, and lets monsters be spoiled, about 50 times more often than Retail. The monster's own HP and the time it takes to kill it do not change just because the rate is higher.

Are drop rate, spoil rate and adena rate the same number?

Usually not. A server lists them separately, for example "drop x25, spoil x15, adena x50", because the owner tunes each one on its own. This site keeps the three multipliers apart for the same reason: set each one once and every chance, amount and craft cost on the site uses the right one.

What counts as low, mid or high rate?

There is no official line, but the private server community generally calls x1 to x7 low rate, x10 to x25 mid rate, x50 to x100 high rate, and anything above that (x1000, x5000, x9999) ultra or no-grind rate. Lower rates keep hunting and crafting closer to how long they took on Retail; higher rates shorten that time.

Does a higher rate change enchant success chance or spoil success chance?

No. Rate multipliers scale how much a kill, spoil or craft gives or how often an item drops, not the chance that an action such as enchanting or successfully spoiling a corpse succeeds in the first place. Those odds stay the ones in the enchant calculator and the drop or spoil chance shown on each monster, whatever the rate.

How do I see item drops, spoil and craft costs for my own server's rate?

Open the rates bar at the top of the site and set each multiplier your server uses, or follow a link a server already made for its players, for example /?rates=xp10,drop25,spoil15,adena50. Every drop chance, spoil chance, amount and craft cost on item, monster, craft and hunting spot pages recalculates for those rates and is remembered for your next visit.
